Design

One of our expert landscape architects or designers will meet with you for an in-home consultation to determine the scope of your project, discuss your goals and vision, and offer recommendations on styles, plants, and materials.

Our team will gather an accurate understanding of the build site. Our site-analysis professionals will catalog existing plants, structures, elevations, drainage, utilities, and general site conditions to inform the design and planning process.

In this phase, our landscape designer will prepare conceptual plans that carefully merge our knowledge of landscape construction with your preferences for the style and use of the space. This preliminary plan, will be drawn to scale, and will include all spatial layouts and general information regarding hardscape material selections, lighting fixture placement, landscape beds and conceptual plants/plant massing, along with drainage considerations for your project.

This phase may also include preparation of general project budgets and 3D models of the concept design.

If you elect this option, based on your feedback and our ideas after the presentation of the conceptual plan and project budgets, our team will prepare your final plan. The final plans are scale working drawings with all hardscape and individual plant identification, including material specifications, plant identification, and location of included lighting and drainage features. These plans, along with requested or required supplemental construction details or engineering, will be suitable for use in installing your new project.

On request, we can provide assistance with supplemental design services to support project requirements, including construction details, sealed engineering plans, and architectural drawings required for permitting.
