Location: Ellicott City, Maryland
The goal of this project was to create and install a master plan which included various areas and elements throughout the property . The main feature of this project is a rectangular swimming pool centered on the rear of the home where the forty-foot length of the pool appears to “vanish” from the edge. Other elements of this project include a “family dining terrace” with a kitchen and fireplace, a “natural area” that includes a natural waterfall and pond, and a “cutting garden” centered on a stone wall with a fountain so that the homeowner can display freshly cut flowers all season long. Stone paths set in the lawn link all of the different areas throughout the property.
